Moscow 2012 - Olyampic Village, 2005
In the project «Moscow 2012» is supposed to create the Olympic village, situated in a convenient location in the north-west of Moscow. The village will be a comfortable, safe and comfortable home, where athletes will be able to quickly and easily get to the venues and cultural activities. Village for the athletes will be located in an area of 80 hectares, which is enough to provide accommodation in a green area over 20 000 athletes, coaches and officials who will arrive in Moscow to participate in the Games. All facilities will comply with the requirements, providing easy access for participants Paralympic Games.
Plan Village for athletes meet the most stringent environmental standards in terms of materials, the use of water and communications to collect waste. On the territory of the village will be located cafe serving traditional for the different cultures of the world, theater, recreation, internet cafes, shops, a bank and a media center. Planned organization of clinics and other facilities for the members of national Olympic committees. After the Games Village for the athletes will be transferred to the category of residential buildings.
